![]() When burgers are cooked, pull off the palace on the bottom portion of the sliced biscuits and top with bacon jam. After flipping the burgers, place 4 ounces of pimento cheese on top so that it will begin to soften from the heat. When it is preheated, place a little oil in the pan and cook the hamburger patties to your desired temperature. Place cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Form into patties and season with salt and pepper. Divide the beef into 6 equal portions.Cook for 5 minutes until it comes together into a jam consistency. Add garlic, cook for two minutes, add the bacon back to it, add Tabasco and black pepper.Chop the onions into small dice and cook the onions in 1/4 cup of the bacon fat until translucent, add brown sugar and cook on low for 10 minutes.Remove from oven and brush immediately with butter. Bake at 425 degrees for 8 minutes, or until tops are golden brown. Place on buttered sheet pan or cast-iron skillet nestled together and brush tops with butter. Roll out dough to 3/4 inch thick, and cut biscuits with biscuit cutter (we use a 2 1/2 inch on the truck). Place dough on floured surface, and knead to smooth. Cover dough and rest in warm area for 30-40 minutes to rise. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, and stir with hands to just combine, being careful not to overwork the dough. I wish I had ordered these all to myself! The order came with five which means I only got to indulge in two and a half. These are deep fried biscuits shaped as donut holes and topped with lemon mascarpone, coated in sugar, and dipped in blueberry sauce. Hands down, my favorite thing at Biscuit Love is the Bonuts (pictured above). In fact, I couldn’t resist two of the three items on the to share portion, and I left completely satisfied, from just one item on the menu. I came for biscuits, so you can guess what I chose. There is also an a la carte option, and an entire menu of drinks. There are four sections: to share, with a biscuit, without a biscuit, and for the little ones. The menu is segregated by, you guessed it, biscuits. There is a large lit marquee on the back wall spelling out everyone’s favorite destination: Music City. The kitchen is visible, with bar seating, even though it’s just breakfast and lunch hours. The restaurant is large, but cozy, with three main eating areas. The line moved quickly enough, and soon we had ordered and were sitting cozily on the upstairs row of seats. As if the lines weren’t proof enough of what was waiting inside, Biscuit Love has exceptional reviews.
